My Approach

I believe every person carries strengths within themselves, even during times when those strengths may feel difficult to access. Stress, anxiety, life transitions, and emotional pain can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck. Therapy offers a space to slow down, better understand these experiences, and reconnect with yourself in a more compassionate and grounded way.

My role is to support you through this process while helping you develop practical tools for managing emotions, navigating challenges, and building resilience in everyday life.

My work is grounded in the Experiential Model and integrates evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Together, we may focus on emotional regulation, coping strategies, communication, relationships, family dynamics, and the patterns that shape your daily life and well-being.

I view therapy as a collaborative process. We work together to identify meaningful goals, strengthen self-awareness, and create lasting changes that feel realistic and supportive for your life. I encourage clients to gently apply what we explore in sessions into their everyday environments,  at home, at school, at work, and within relationships and community.

When helpful, and always with your consent, we may also involve supportive people in your journey, such as family members or other trusted professionals. Creating a safe, respectful, and confidential space remains central to all of our work together.
